Backstage Update on Trish Stratus’ WWE Future After Royal Rumble 2025

As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus made a surprise appearance at WWE’s Royal Rumble 2025 event earlier this month in Indianapolis, Indiana. Stratus competed as one of the surprise entrants in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Stratus has been a recent topic of discussion within WWE regarding potential future involvement with the company. Those spoken to reportedly stated that Stratus occasionally pitches ideas to WWE and remains a consistent part of WWE officials internal conversations.

It was reported that Stratus is currently expected to be involved in WWE officials’ upcoming plans for next month’s Elimination Chamber 2025 event due to it taking place in her hometown of Toronto.

Carmella Health & WWE Absence Status Update

As noted before, Carmella has been out of action for WWE since early 2023 due to maternity reasons over the birth of her child this past November and foot-related injury issues.

Carmella recently provided an update on Instagram listing some of the medical-related checkups she has underwent during her recovery from her injury she suffered while giving birth.

Seth Rollins Comments on Becky Lynch’s Absence & In-Ring Career Future

As noted before, Becky Lynch has been on a break from WWE and wrestling since this past June. Lynch had recently signed a new contract with the company following the expiration of her prior deal this past June.

A recent episode of the Maggie & Perloff podcast featured Seth Rollins as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Rollins’ thoughts about his wife Becky’s potential return to the ring.

“I don’t think she’s seen her last time in the ring. I foresee her making her return to the ring at some point, don’t know when. She was out working. She’s the best and she will be back.”
