AEW Reportedly Working on Plans for Major Match for Dynasty 2025

Billie Starkz has been involved in a storyline feud with Mercedes Mone in recent weeks of AEW shows. Starkz and Mone competed in a TBS Championship match on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Omaha, Nebraska that was won by Mone to retain her title.

Besides her storyline feud with Starkz on AEW programming, Mone has also recently been feuding with current ROH Women’s World Champion Athena on social media.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Mone’s comments after her TBS title match about Starkz’s mentor didn’t trainer her properly for the match in reference to Athena and her recent interactions with Athena on social media were done for a purpose.

It was reported that those spoken to stated that AEW officials are currently working on plans for a big match between Athena and Mone. Several people within AEW reportedly believe that this match could happen as early as AEW’s Dynasty 2025 event on April 6th.

It is currently not known if this match would only be for Mone’s TBS title, Athena’s ROH Women’s World title, or even both.

While Athena and Mone have previously worked together during their wrestling careers, they have never had a one-on-one match against each other before.
