As noted before, this past Saturday’s WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 event featured current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes turning down “The Final Boss” The Rock’s offer to be his personal champion and also own his soul and John Cena turning heel and attacking Rhodes. This attack also featured rapper Travis Scott getting involved and delivered a hard slap to Rhodes’ bloodied face.
Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources confirmed that Rhodes suffered legitimate injuries to his face during the attack angle segment.
Meltzer reported that those spoken to stated that Rhodes had suffered a black eye and a busted left eardrum.
Bryan Alvarez speculated that Scott’s hard slap to Rhodes’ face while he was down likely was the cause of Rhodes suffering a black eye and busted left eardrum.
