As noted before, Monday’s event for Stardom in Tokyo, Japan featured Saya Kamitani defeating Tam Nakano in a Loser Leaves Stardom match. Following the match, Kamitani challenged Nakano to a career vs. career and World of Stardom Championship match at next month’s All Star Grand Queendom 2025 event.
Stardom held a press conference earlier today in Japan featuring Stardom President Taro Okada and Nakano as the speakers.
Okada announced that the promotion and Nakano have decided to end Nakano’s exclusive contract agreement with the company.
Nakano stated that she will work as a freelancer for Stardom going forward and will still be competing at their All Star Grand Queendom 2025 event on April 27th in Yokohama. Nakano also stated that if she loses to Kamitani at the event, then she will retire from her wrestling career immediately.
