During Saturday’s Sakura Genesis 2025 event in Tokyo, Japan, New Japan Pro Wrestling announced the full field and group blocks for this year’s Best of the Super Juniors tournament.
This year’s tournament takes place from May 10th to June 1st in Japan and features several talent from CMLL, Dragongate, DDT Pro Wrestling, and AEW among the twenty-man field.
In regards to AEW, it was announced that Nick Wayne will be representing AEW in this year’s tournament. In an interesting note, Kevin Knight was also announced for the tournament but he was featured with a New Japan for his graphic.
In regards to CMLL, it was announced that this will be a mystery competitor to be officially revealed at a later date.
