Ace Austin reportedly has recently departed from TNA Wrestling, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that the reason for Austin’s departure was due to his contract with TNA had expired. Those spoken to reportedly stated that TNA officials had been in negotiations with Austin for new potential deal but the two sides were unable to come to terms.
Johnson reported that Austin’s final appearance for TNA will be on tonight’s Impact! episode that was taped earlier this month in Irvine, California.
Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling owner Scott D’Amore stated in a recent article for Yahoo Sports’ Uncrowned that he was told that Austin’s departure was amicable.
Prior to his departure, Austin had been signed with TNA since March of 2019.
