The May 20th episode of VICE TV’s Dark Side of the Ring series will be based on the late Daffney, real name Shannon Spruill. Daffney tragically passed away in September of 2021 due to a suicide incident.
Daffney’s claimed adopted daughter Jamie Lynn Senegal announced earlier today on Twitter that she was not involved in this upcoming episode and will not be watching the episode out of respect for Daffney.

In a follow-up tweet, Senegal stated that she had refused to participate in the filming for the episode for the reason why she was not involved with it.
