Mina Shirakwa Signs Official Contract with AEW

As noted before, Mina Shirakawa departed from Stardom this past April and stated that she will be joining AEW for the next destination in her wrestling career. Shirakawa made her first appearance as a full-time member of AEW at last week’s Dynamite Beach Break 2025 show.

Following Shirakawa’s victory over Julia Hart in the main event of tonight’s Dynamite show in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, AEW CEO Tony Khan announced on Twitter that Shirakawa recently signed an official contract with the company.

Shirakwa is currently scheduled to face off against “Timeless” Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship at AEW’s Double or Nothing event on Sunday, May 25th in Glendale, Arizona.

Prior to her signing, Shirakawa has made several appearances for AEW since April of 2024.
