As noted before, former WWE and TKO Group Executive Chairman Vince McMahon has been working on plans to launch a new entertainment company.
Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston reported that McMahon has launched a new investment firm called 14TH & I based on registration documents filed in Connecticut in September 20, 2024. This new firm reportedly will be focused on pursing sportiness in the sports, media, and entertainment.
These filings were for three limited liability companies called “14TH & I Holdings LLC,” “14TH & I Investments LLC,” and “14TH & I Management LLC.” Thurston speculated that the reason for McMahon having three separate LLCs may be a way to keep different parts of the business legally and financially separate.
Thurston reported that two related trademarks were filed on August 23, 2024 to the United States Patent and Trademark Office. These were for “14TH&I” and “14TH & I” and are for two different classes of business, private equity fund investment and entertainment production.
Thurston also reported that former WWE Executive Brad Blum was revealed to be the President of McMahon’s new venture based on Blum’s LinkedIn profile.
“14th & I is a private investment firm focused on the sports, media, & entertainment sectors. We are a disciplined, flexible, long-term capital and strategic partner, primarily targeting buyouts/majority deals, as well as selective growth-oriented minority investments. We seek to partner with and empower exceptional management teams, providing deep expertise, capability, and relationships to help drive significant long-term value.”
Thurston also reported that there has been no indication yet that McMahon’s new business venture is pursuing business related to pro wrestling.
