Buddy Matthews Ankle Injury Update – Matthews Says Ankle Not Recovering as Well as He Had Expected

As noted before, Buddy Matthews has been out of action for AEW since this past February’s Grand Slam Australia event due to an ankle injury.

In a recent Instagram live stream, Matthews provided an update on his recovery from his ankle injury stating that his ankle has not been recovering as well as he had thought it would be.

“The ankle is not recovering as well as I thought it would be. There’s no mobility to it, if I can’t have mobility, I can’t move properly. Once it hits three months without healing, it becomes chronic… I thought I’d be back in the ring in April.”
