Cash Wheeler Pulled from AEW Grand Slam Mexico Show
Wednesday’s AEW Grand Slam Mexico show at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico featured FTR’s Cash Wheeler being pulled from the show.
During the show, Stokely Hathaway and FTR’s Dax Harwood came out for their 14-Man Tag Team match. Hathaway stated that Wheeler was not here tonight but for nobody to worry since one and a half of FTR was still here and he would be taking Wheeler’s place instead for this match.

Wheeler’s abscense likely was due to legal issues related to him not being allowed to travel to Mexico due to his Aggravated Assault with a Firearm arrest in 2023 that was later expunged from his legal record.
Mercedes Mone Wins CMLL World Women’s Title at AEW Grand Slam Mexico
Wednesday’s AEW Grand Slam Mexico show also featured Mercedes Mone defeating Zeuxis to become the new CMLL World Women’s Champion.

This was Mone’s first ever CMLL World Women’s Championship victory in her AEW & CMLL career. This was also Mone’s fifth title belt she currently holds along with the AEW TBS Championship, RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship (two belts), and EWA Women’s Championship.
