Sting Comments on Enjoying His Post-Wrestling Career Life
Instinct Culture’s Denise Salcedo held a recent interview with wrestling legend and former AEW wrestler Sting. One of the topics discussed included Sting’s thoughts about how he has been enjoying his retirement so far from his wrestling career.
“I’m retired, but I’m on airplanes like multiple times a month, especially 2025. I’m blowing it out here. I’ve always loved real estate, so I’m still dabbling in real estate. And I’m going to get more serious about that coming up here soon, probably 2026 when I’m not traveling so much. And it’s good because my body is healing up and I’m getting to spend more time with family and friends. And, yeah, it’s all good.”
Sting also gave his thoughts about how he had yet to watch the pay-per-view broadcast of his retirement match with Darby Allin against The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at AEW Revolution 2024.
“I see certain things, you know, fans or family members or friends will send a video, a 2-3 minute clip of something. I watch stuff like that. And I’m not saying I haven’t seen like a whole match of mine, but it’s rare. It is so rare. When I’m done, I take that hat off and go on with the next part of my life.”

Matthew Jackson Says He Suffered Pulled Hamestring Injury at AEW Double or Nothing 2025
In a recently released new Never Not Jet Lagged vlog, Matthew Jackson stated that he had suffered a pulled hamstring injury during the Anarchy in the Arena match at this past May’s AEW Double or Nothing 2025 event.
“I have a wrap around my hamstring. It’s a pulled hamstring, I’m just out here icing my big old hamstring because I got hurt last night. I woke up, I slept maybe three hours… I was so uncomfortable all night. I feel really bad, I’m not feeling it, my left knee’s also swollen, so I’m having a hard time walking.. and my neck’s kind of hurting too. I was texting my brother… I think this is the worst I’ve ever felt after a match in my career.”

Josh Alexander Comments On Joining AEW Being “I Wanted To Be Here Since Before This Company’s Inception”
A recent episode of the AEW Unrestricted podcast featured Josh Alexander as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Alexander’s thoughts about his official debut in AEW this past April and how he wanted to be in AEW before the company’s inception.
“Just coming here and then finally getting.. when I got that pop on that entrance, like I was so nervous. It’s just because… I’m sure you guys have heard it on this podcast a thousand times and every other wrestling podcast. Wrestlers are so insecure at the end of the day. Especially as baby faces, because you having people like you and want to see you is way more difficult than walking out there and, you know, being like, hey, the Boston Celtics are terrible guys.
This is a full circle moment of like I wanted to be here since before this company’s inception. Now that I’m here, it’s just off the races and it’s just building blocks, starting from square one and we’re gonna see where it goes.”
