Noam Dar Vacates NXT Heritage Cup Due to Injury & New Champion to Be Crowned at 6/24 NXT Show

WWE NXT General Manager Ava announced earlier today on Twitter that Noam Dar recently suffered an injury and as a result, he has vacated the NXT Heritage Cup Championship.

Ava also stated that a new champion will be crowned at next week’s NXT show on June 24th at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Ava also announced that Dar’s previously scheduled opponent Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo will be facing a mystery opponent for the vacant title at the show.

No other details were given regarding the nature nor severity of Dar’s injury.


WWE Files New “WWE Late Night” Trademark

WWE filed a new trademark for “WWE Late Night” on June 20th for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

“Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”


Push Within WWE for LA Knight to Be Moved to RAW Brand

WrestleVotes Radio reported that their sources stated that many people within WWE have been pushing for SmackDown brand talent LA Knight to be moved over to the RAW brand within the near future.

Those spoken to reportedly stated that many within WWE feel that his presence on Netflix could be viewed as something of a refreshing change for him in regards to his career in the company.
