Tokyo Sports reported that former New Japan Pro Wrestling talent Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI are currently working on plans to hold a tour of the United States later this summer.
It was reported that Naito and BUSHI already have one indie date scheduled for Revolution Pro Wrestling’s Summer Sizzler event on July 25th in Wolverhampton, England.
It was also reported that Naito and BUSHI are currently working on plans for one more indie date in the United Kingdom and are current in talks for a tour of the United States for multiple promotions this August and September. The promotions for Naito and BUSHI’s upcoming U.S. tour are currently not known.
In an interview with the outlet, Naito gave his thoughts about the future of his wrestling career.
“I want to solidify my future while going to places where I have not been able to show Tetsuya Naito’s matches until now. I am not considering domestic options at all at the moment. If an offer comes, I will of course consider it, and if I feel like it after playing matches, I may appear in a domestic organization by the end of the year.”
