Real1 (Enzo Amore) Makes Video Appearance on Thursday’s TNA Impact! Show

Thursday’s TNA Impact! show featured Real1, former Enzo Amore in WWE.

During the show, a paid video message was aired featuring Real1 giving a promo for the Fourth Rope Wrestling promotion, which he is currently their Flyweight Champion.

Real1 talked about a “forbidden door” and teased at him making a potential appearance at TNA’s Slammiversary 2025 event on July 20th in Long Island, New York after saying that TNA is coming to his backyard.


Hirooki Goto Reportedly Joins Cast of New Live Action Street Fighter Film

As noted before, Hirooki Goto has been out of action for New Japan Pro Wrestling since this past June’s Tanahashi Jam event due to a right elbow injury. Goto was recently pulled from this year’s G1 Climax tournament due to his injury and replaced by Taichi who qualified in a Last Chance Gauntlet match for Goto’s spot.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Goto recently joined the cast for the upcoming new live action Street Fighter film.

It was reported that Goto will be portraying the role of E. Honda in the film.

It was also announced that filming for this upcoming new film is currently scheduled to begin this August in Australia.

Goto joins WWE’s Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns as pro wrestlers currently among the film’s cast.


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Former WWE and TKO Group Executive Chairman Vince McMahon filed a new trademarks for “14TH&I” and “14TH & I” on August 23rd for private equity fund investment and entertainment-related purposes to the United States Patent and Trademark Office. 14th & I is the name of McMahon’s new investment and entertainment company.

Major League Wrestling filed a new trademark for “The Skyscrappers” on July 8th for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes to the USPTO. This is the tag team name of current MLW World Tag Team Champions Donovan Dijak and Bishop Dyer (former Baron Corbin) in MLW.

MLW recently announced that CMLL talent Atlantis will be making an appearance for the company at their Fightland 2025 event on September 13th in Dallas, Texas.

Insider Gaming reported that WWE Hall of Famer Macho Man Randy Savage will be among the new playable characters for RetroSoft Studio’s RetroMania Wrestling video game. It was reported that the upcoming DLC pack for the game will be released on September 13th and includes Savage, Magnum TA, Demolition (Ax & Smash), and The Rock ‘N’ Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) as newly playable characters.

Starrcast announced that they recently pulled The Beast Mortos from their Starrcast Texas event on July 11th in Arlington, Texas due to a scheduling conflict issue. Mortos is currently scheduled to be in Mexico that day for CMLL’s Super Viernes event at the Arena Mexico. Mortos will be facing off against Esfinge at the event.

Starrcast also recently announced that they have pulled a panel featuring Swerve Strickland from their Starrcast Texas event on July 11-12 in Arlington due to a scheduling conflict as well. It was announced that Strickland will still be attending their event for a photo op and a new panel has been added featuring Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Nigel McGuinness giving an inside look at AEW commentary.

As noted before, ECW legend Francine revealed this past June that her doctors had discovered a small mass in her left breast. Francine provided an update on Thursday on Twitter stating that the mass was recently determined to not be cancerous based on her biopsy testing results. Game Changer Wrestling recently announced three new matches for the card of their GCW Japan event on July 30th in Tokyo, Japan:

GCW also recently announced one new match for the card of their Boss Of All Bosses event on July 11th in Dallas, Texas:
