Chelsea Green Announces She Is Taking Break from Social Media After Hulk Hogan Comments Issue

As noted before, Chelsea Green recently dealt with some online backlash over issues with her comments she had made towards the late WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan. Green later clarified her comments stating that her not talking about Hogan’s controversial racist comments and political views was not meant to be her condoning racism and instead just her simply trying to acknowledge Hogan’s death in a respectful manner.

Green issued an official statement earlier today on Twitter announcing that she is taking a break from social media due to hateful messages including death threats that she has recently received over her Hogan comments.

“I’ve tried to keep my page positive and comedic, but today, a lot changed… and it hit harder than I expected. The name calling, the death threats, the faceless accounts.

Social media was supposed to be a fun place and it hasn’t been for a while. It’s been overwhelming and I need to step away for a little bit.

Love my PatriHOTS!
