Backstage Reaction to WWE Evolution 2 & Naomi’s WWE Women’s World Title Victory
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that the general reaction within WWE from both the locker room and management was one of being thrilled with Sunday’s Evolution 2 event in Atlanta, Georgia.
In regards to the backsage reaction over Naomi’s WWE Women’s World Championship victory, Johsnon reported that there was a lot of happiness for Naomi and her ascension to the championship. Naomi reportedly is very much respected and appreciated behind-the-scenes in the company.
Johnson reported that the general feeling from those spoken to was that they’d “have to do” another Evolution event after the excellent quality of Sunday’s show. Those spoken to reportedly made it clear that nothing has been decided yet and this was just in their opinion that logically there would be another Evolution event after the success of last night’s show.
In regards to the online speculation of AJ Lee making an appearance at Evolution 2, Johnson reported that WWE adding content featuring her to their YouTube channels in the lead-up to the show was not meant to be any connection of her appearing on the show.
