Santino Marella Comments on WWE & TNA Partnership Being “The Epitome of a Win-Win Situation”
Instinct Culture’s Denise Salcedo held a recent interview with TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella. One of the topics discussed included Marella’s thoughts about his belief that WWE and TNA’s working partnership is the “epitome of a win-win situation” for both companies.
“Yeah, I mean, it’s huge to just to see the relationship, and that’s another thing. If it wasn’t for this historic relationship taking place right now, we (he and Arianna Grace) wouldn’t have had a chance to work together. So that’s another one of the factors that lined up. No, it’s awesome, man. It’s really good exposure for some of our top guys. It’s really good exposure for the NXT crew, especially if they’re homegrown talent and they’ve never seen anything outside of WWE to come over to our show and just get a different look at what wrestling can be. So it’s the epitome of a win-win situation.”

Jerry Lawler Comments on Origin of His Attitude Era “Puppies” Catchphrase
Instinct Culture’s Denise Salcedo held a recent interview with WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler. One of the topics discussed included Lawler’s thoughts about the origin of his iconic “Puppies” catchphrase during the Attitude Era being something that was coined by Brian “Road Dogg” James in a promo he gave towards Sable.
“Road Dogg, he came out and he said on an interview, to, I think, Sable, he said, ‘Hey, let us see your puppies,’ and it went over big. It just stuck in my mind and I started saying it week after week. So I became more [historically associated with the phrase]. I’ll give him his proper credit, though. He started it.”
