WWE reportedly currently has plans to groom Rhea Ripley, Jacob Fatu, and Bron Breakker to be the new long-term top stars for the company’s future, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer reported that Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk would still be the current headliners for WWE along with Ripley, Fatu, and Breakker once those three are on their same level.
In regards to Ripley, WWE officials reportedly view her as the long-term face of their women’s division.
In regards to Breakker, Meltzer reported that Breakker has been a Heyman project for a while and this would be the reason why WWE officials have been easing him into longer promo responsibility.
In regards to Fatu, Meltzer reported that Fatu has felt to him like an early 80s Jimmy Snuka as a heel the crowd for behind with crazy unpredictability of being badass unstoppable one-on-one.
Meltzer speculated that Trick Williams has the potential of also becoming a long-term top star of the future for WWE but believes he is currently a long way from having the in-ring quality compared to Ripley, Fatu, and Breakker. Meltzer reported that while Williams already has the promo work and charisma needed to be a top star in WWE, ring work quality has been more important today than ever before in the company for top stars.
