Triple H Comments on Online Criticism of WWE Unreal “Lifting The Curtain”
WFAN held a recent interview with WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque. One of the topics discussed included Levesque’s thoughts about the online criticisms of the WWE Unreal docuseries “lifting the curtain” in pro wrestling and how most of the people complaining were already talking about it anyway.
“I think the internet — you know, you could do things at that moment in time when you go back and you talk about Hulk Hogan, right? People didn’t know. They didn’t know the ins and the outs, they didn’t know what was going on behind-the-scenes. They maybe talked about it a little bit. Now, you can’t — If you’re bringing in a new talent, you’ve got to hide them at a different airport and you can’t let them be seen in the building because the second you do, it’s everywhere. People want to report on everything. It’s the funny thing that you talk about with Unreal — people that are fans of our business are just as fascinated with the behind-the-scenes of what we do as they are seeing it take place and the entertainment that it provides in real time. As you said with the show, there’s so much that goes into the creation of this but fans are fascinated with it. The people that are complaining about us lifting that curtain and showing people behind-the-scenes are mostly the people that are already talking about it anyways. They’re on podcasts, they’re debating it with their friends, they’re already there talking about all of it. We’re just giving you a look into what really goes on and what happens behind-the-scenes. I think, much like Drive To Survive did for F1, I think opens up the doors to a lot of people that aren’t necessarily fans, but that can watch this and appreciate all that goes into it and say, ‘Man, these people seem fascinating, they approach what they do with such an incredible passion, I want to see what the final product is that they put out.’ Hopefully that leads to them becoming WWE fans for life.”

Linda Hogan Reflects on Death of Her Ex-Husband Hulk Hogan
As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, passed away on July 24th at the age of 71 due to a cardiac arrest.
Hogan’s ex-wife Linda Claridge recently reflected on Instagram about the passing of Hogan.
“I had no idea he would pass away this soon. We all really thought he would make a come back! Big surprise. We are all devastated. It’s hitting me so hard. I loved Hulkster more than he loved me. It hurt when he cheated. But he was sooo famous. I sort of [understood] but it was crushing. It hurt. I [never] got over him or started a real relationship w anyone .. I missed HIM! I’ve been weeping all day. The finality. It’s just shocking. We spent every minute together for so many years. I’ve known him since he was 28 yrs old! I was 22. I still love him. Even tho I never spoke or saw him, Nick did .. and Nick would tell me things and vice versa. Just news about life. I still felt .. although broken .. we still were a family. It’s so hard to know he’s just gone. I tried to stay strong for Nick .. but I’m melting down now. It’s very sad. I love you Hulkster. You were my man. The only man for me. RIP”
