Otis & Omos Makes Surprise Appearance at AAA Triplemania XXXIII

Saturday’s AAA Triplemania XXXIII event at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico featured WWE talents Otis and Omos making a surprise appearance.

During the Copa Bardahl battle royal match, both Otis and Omos came out as surprise entrants. Otis was the 9th entrant and Omos was the 13th entrant in the match.

Omos Wins Copa Barthal at AAA Triplemania XXXIII

Saturday’s AAA Triplemania XXXIII event also featured Omos winning this year’s Copa Barthal.

This battle royal match featured Omos, La Parka, Laredo Kid, Joaquin Wilde, Abismo Negro Jr., Taurus, Areostar, Mecha Wolf , Cruz Del Toro, Otis, Pimpinela Escarlata, Cibernetico, Microman, and Octagon Jr.

El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. Wins AAA Latin American Title

Saturday’s AAA Triplemania XXXIII event also featured El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. defeating El Mesías to become the new AAA Latin American Champion.

This was El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.’s first ever AAA Latin American Championship victory in his AAA career.

Pagano & Psycho Clown Wins AAA Tag Titles

Saturday’s AAA Triplemania XXXIII event also featured Pagano & Psycho Clown defeating Los Garza (Berto & Angel) to become the new AAA World Tag Team Champions.

This was Pagano and Psycho Clown’s first ever AAA World Tag Team Championship victory as a team in their AAA careers. This was also Pagano and Psycho Clown’s second tag titles championship victories each in their AAA careers.

Next WWE x AAA Worlds Collide Set for This September

Saturday’s AAA Triplemania XXXIII event also featured WWE announcing that the next co-promoted Worlds Collide event with AAA will be taking place on September 12th at The Pavilion at the Thoma & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This will be the second WWE and AAA co-promoted Worlds Collide event since WWE’s acquisition of AAA and the second Worlds Collide event this year.

AJ Styles Makes Surprise Appearance at AAA Triplemania XXXIII

Saturday’s AAA Triplemania XXXIII event also featured AJ Styles making a surprise appearance.

Near the end of the AAA Mega Championship Four-way match between El Grande Americano, Dragon Lee, Dominik Mysterio, and El Hijo del Vikingo, Mysterio used a loaded mask to take out all three. Mysterio then hit a Frog Splash to Lee for a nearfall that was broken up by a mystery masked hooded person showing up and pulling the referee away. This mystery person then got into the ring and took off their mask revealing himself to be Styles and proceeded to lay out Mysterio with a Styles Clash. This led to Vikingo getting back in the ring and hit a 630 Splash to Mysterio for the pinfall to retain his title.
