Willow Nightingale Comments on Her Decision to Re-Sign with AEW
The Cleveland News-Herald held a recent interview with Willow Nightingale. One of the topics discussed included Nightingale’s decision to sign a new deal with AEW this past May to remain the company for the foreseeable future.
“The idea of entertaining free agency didn’t even really cross my mind. I mean, obviously, the thought was there because it’s a business at the end of the day, but I am so happy where I am, and I feel like my work here is so far from done. And the things that I love about wrestling the most are afforded to me here. I do get to travel and see the world, wrestle [in] other places, wrestle other people. But, also, I get to be a part of our locker room, and it’s changed and grown since I’ve started there, let alone from the people who were there from day one.”
Nightingale also gave her thoughts about her having high hopes for the future of the Women’s division in AEW.
“I would love to see all of the women get more opportunities and tag matches — even the things that may not necessarily be like me, ‘Willow is the champion,’ or me, whatever. If I could help the girls in any way, if I could help the women’s division and also thrive, I would be very satisfied with that.”

Mark Briscoe Comments on Him “Starting To Get A Grasp” on Being A Singles Wrestler
A recent episode of The F Y’All Podcast with C.T. Fletcher featured Mark Briscoe as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Briscoe’s thoughts about him transitioning to a singles star after being a tag team specialist for so long in his wrestling career.
“Man, it’s been an interesting journey, you know what I mean? Like, at first, tag team specialist, like you said. It’s like… (a) tag team match, you’re going there guns blazing until you’re out of ammo. Then you tag out and you reload while your brother goes in there guns blazing until he’s out of ammo, tag out, you know what I mean? So now it’s more of a thing of pace and tempo and just the cadence of the match and strategically knowing when you got to- you got to keep them lungs, you got to keep them lungs right. You know what I mean? You got to keep them lungs right. But yeah, it’s one of them things, I’m starting to get a grasp on it and I’m starting to get more comfortable with it and man, I’m smelling that gold. Smelling that gold in them there heels.”
