CMLL World Light Heavyweight Title vs. Mask Match Set for CMLL 92 Anniversary Event

CMLL announced one new match for the card of their 92nd Anniversary event, which takes place on September 19th at Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.

This new match announced was a CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship Title vs. Mask match of Mistico (mask) vs. MJF (title).

This match was setup following Friday’s Super Viernes event that featured MJF defeating Zandokan Jr. to retain the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship and stole his mask. This led to Mistico coming out to confront MJF and issued a challenge for a the title at CMLL’s 92nd Annievsrary event. MJF agreed but only on the condition that Mistico also put his mask on the line which Mistico agreed to doing. MJF also stated that only his title and not also his hair would be on the line for him.
