Karrion Kross & Scarlett’s WWE Contracts Reportedly Expired [Update – Kross & Scarlett’s Departures Reportedly Not a “Work”]

Fightful Select reported that their sources provided additional details regarding Karrion Kross and Scarlett’s contract situation with WWE.

It was reported that both talent and WWE creative officials spoken to stated that they have been told that as of now, Kross and Scarlett’s departure from the company is real.

It was also reported that Kross and Scarlett were originally scheduled to travel to this past week’s WWE RAW show but WWE officials changed their travel plans at the last minute and neither appeared at the show.

In regards to the next potential destination for Kross and Scarlett’s wrestling careers, it was reported that while they did not have a pleasant exit from TNA, the leadership regime has completly changed within the company. It was also reported that TNA’s current active partnership with WWE could affect the possibility of Kross and Scarlett both there and with Lucha Libre AAA.

It was reported that while Kross has a history with promotions like NJPW and Major League Wrestling, many promoters have been hesitant to reach out to him and Scarlett for bookings due to the lingering uncertainty of their contract situation.


As noted before, Karrion Kross and Scarlett’s contracts with WWE is currently set to expire this weekend.

Kross and Scarlett’s roster profiles on WWE’s official website were moved over to the Alumni section on midnight earlier today. This is usually a sign that a talent’s contract had expired.

Fightful Select reported that both Kross and Scarlett’s contracts were both set to expire on Sunday, August 10th. It was also reported that there is still the possibility that Kross and Scarlett’s contracts expiring could just be an elaborate “work” instead.

Kross and Scarlett have been signed with WWE since August of 2022, following a prior stint from 2020 to 2021.
