As noted before, Hikaru Shida has been absent from AEW since this past November due to work visa-related issues. During her time away from AEW and from her home in the United States, Kenny Omega has been taking care of Shida’s pet cats at his home.
Shida provided an update this past Thursday on Twitter posting a photo of her holding her passport and an airplane emojii implying that her visa-related issues have been resolved.

Shida provided another update earlier today on Twitter revealing that she is back in the United States and has reunited with her pet cats.

It is currently not known when Shida will be making her return to AEW.
