Diamond Dallas Page Underwent Medical Procedure For Atrial Fibrillation
WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page announced on Wednesday on Twitter that he underwent a cardioversion medical procedure after going into Atrial fibrillation, which is a heart condition where the upper chambers of the heart beat irregularly and rapidly.
Page stated that the health scare occurred while he was working out and he was not wearing a heart monitor that day.
“Minutes after waking up from a successful cardioversion, I’m back stretching. My wife, @PaygeMcMahon is like… ‘can you just rest for 24-hours?’
Last week, I went into AFib. I normally wear a heart monitor when training, but for some reason didn’t this day. I pushed myself too hard, felt ‘off’, dizzy, and heart racing… and well, here we are…
This is my 2nd time with AFib (irregular heartbeats) in the past 3 years. I’ll have a cardio ablation next month and should be good to go.
I will never not wear a heart monitor and/or @Apple watch when working out again. I promise Payge!
If you are over 50 and or have a slightly enlarged heart, you should wear a heart monitor too! @DDPYoga
#afib”

Mark Henry Responds to Backlash Over His Raja Jackson Assault Incident Comments
As noted before, Raja Jackson, son of former UFC fighter Quintin “Rampage” Jackson, was involved in an incident over him legit assaulting a pro wrestler named Syko Stu, real name Stuart Smith, at an event for KnokX Pro Wrestling this past Saturday. WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry was among those to comment on the issue and stated that he believed that Stu shared some of the blame for the incident taking place.
In a recent episode of The Morning Kickoff radio show, co-host Henry responded to the online backlash against him over the victim blaming comments he made towards Stu.
“I did say that what happened was excessive with the young man, Raja Jackson, and that whole thing was a mistake. What I said has nothing to do with race. It has everything to do with ignorance about the wrestling business. And I don’t expect everybody to understand how organized pro wrestling has been for the last 100 years, because it’s been kept a secret. I don’t like to see anybody get hurt in the wrestling business, and I feel sorry for the guy.
Syko [Stu] didn’t deserve what he got. But every action has a reaction, and there’s consequences for everything that you put out in this universe.”
Henry also stated that Jackson should have been smartened up more about the business before taking part in any kind of angle on the show.
Henry also stated that he is making zero apologies for his comments.
“I have not got one racist bone in my body. I love people. God put me on this earth to be a helper and to be a watcher.
I just want to go on record as saying I’m making zero apologies for what I said. I meant every word — every single word I meant. You have to be responsible on both sides. The WWE is where they are because they do great business, because they smarten everybody up. And when people go off-script, they get fined, they get suspended, they get sent away. Until you know better, you can’t be on our program. And I don’t work for them, I just respect the business. So all of you fans out there that have these racist tendencies and all the vitriol for me, have at it. You can’t hurt me. I’m bulletproof.”
