Update on Naomi Being Pulled from 8/11 WWE RAW Show Over Not Being Medically Cleared to Compete – Naomi Reportedly Rumored to Be Out of Action For “Long Time”
As noted before, Naomi was pulled from Monday’s WWE RAW show in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada due to her not being medically cleared to compete.
Bryan Alvarez reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Live that his sources stated that there has been a rumor going around within WWE about Naomi’s current situation. Alvarez reported that the way it has been talked about by people within the company is that if what is being said is true, then Naomi is currently expected to be out of action for a very long time.
No other details were given regarding Naomi’s current health situation.
In an interesting note, Naomi and Jimmy Uso will be the guests of this Thursday’s episode of the “What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon” podcast. This has quickly led to online speculation that Naomi is not currently dealing with any injury-related issue and might actually be pregnant instead.
Adriana Rizzo Torn ACL Injury Update – Rizzo Reveals How She Suffered Fully Torn ACL
As noted before, NXT talent Adriana Rizzo is currently out of action for WWE due to a torn ACL and meniscus injury.
Rizzo recently provided an update on TikTok revealing the cause of her torn ACL injury and how her injury became a fully torn one.
“How I tore my leg? How I tore my knee? What happened? Why did it happen? I’ve gotten a lot of people speculating, ‘Oh, you were doing this, you were doing that…’ First of all, none of your business. But I’m gonna tell you anyway. I’m gonna tell you anyway because I’m sick of hearing — I’m sick of this speculation so here’s what happened: I had a partial tear. Partial, not fully. Partial tear on my ACL. A year and a half ago, I was doing a throw over my head and somebody pushed my knee in, partially tore my ACL. Whatever. I’m fine. I worked through it for a year and a half. Yes, I knew there was a chance it was gonna fully tear, but I wasn’t about to sit out for a year and a half because I got, you know, a splinter on my ACL. I’m gonna get surgery when the whole kabang goes. So, I’m gonna go as long as I can until that happens. Yes, I knew it was a possibility. Yes, I made the decision. Yes, I’m still happy about my decision. So what happened was I was at practice, I was doing a drill, I’m running over to the corner and boom, my knee just, you know, bada bing, bada boom, explodes. I fall over, I lay on the floor for like four minutes because I knew. I knew my knee exploded and then I was like, well, sh*t, there it goes. There it goes. So, that’s the story of my knee. So everyone can stop making up their little fairytale rumors because that’s what happened. Alright, have a good day.”

Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources stated that WWE did confiscate some of the Karrion Kross signs in the crowd during this past Monday’s WWE RAW show. Meltzer reported that those confiscating the signs likely wouldn’t know if the situation with Kross leaving WWE is legitimate or a work but they would have gotten their “marching orders from the top” for the reason for it.
WWE officials reportedly made some changes to their plans for this past Monday’s WWE RAW show following Naomi being pulled due to not being medically cleared to compete, according to PWInsider. Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that one of the changes was WWE officials had originally planned for Asuka’s heel turn to be a slown burn in the coming weeks but those plans were changed after Naomi had been pulled from the show.

WWE also recently released two new videos to their WWE Vault channel on YouTube. The first new video was a “Brock Lesnar before he was a WWE Superstar: Dark Matches, OVW and more!” The second new video was a Summer Games Relay match of John Cena vs. RVD vs. Charlie Haas from the August 12, 2004 episode of WWE SmackDown.
In a recent response to a fan on Twitter, former WWE talent Braun Stroman gave his thoughts about his belief that his release from WWE this past May was a “stupid business decision.” This fan stated “WWESummerSlam sure highlights a guy they cut from the roster in @Adamscherr99 a lot in promo highlights whether it be on @netflix Unreal or on the preshow for Summer Slam. Makes you wonder why the hell he was cut if they are using his image and likeness so much? @TripleH 🤔” Strowman responded stating “Cause someone made a stupid business decision!!!!“
In a recent interview with TVInsider, Alexa Bliss gave her thoughts about how her current tag team partnership with Charlotte Flair came about very randomly. Bliss stated “It came about very randomly, but it has been so much fun. It’s fun to see a different side of both of us. We’re just out there having fun and trying what works and seeing what doesn’t. It has just been showing a side of Charlotte that people don’t normally get to see.“
In a recent interview with the SI Media with Jimmy Traina podcast, Cody Rhodes gave his thoughts about winning the WWE Championship for a second time in his career and how it felt compared to the first. Rhodes stated “I took a moment before the match and before John handed [the title] to me. I thought this memory would be way more present, but as I was under the stage, it hit me, and I’m shocked I didn’t remember this…that is the stage I went and hid under after my match got cut at WrestleMania 29. The same place I’m getting in the elevator to rise up and hopefully get number two, is where I sat in my feelings after getting my match cut, meaning my match was taken off the show minutes before it happened. When I realized that and I was coming up (the elevator), is where I really wanted to take stock of every feeling I had. The first time, WrestleMania 40, was a completely different feeling because I felt like I was capturing something that involved so many people. Of course , my dad [Dusty Rhodes], trying to finish his story. All the medley of characters that were involved in the big schmooze at the end. This one felt, selfishly, for me, in terms of, ‘See, I told you.’ Not in a mean-spirited way, but ‘I told you.’ I was the right guy for the job and I’ve been the right guy for the job,’ but nobody believes that when you’re another wrestler as much as you’re going to make somebody go through it, you put me through it. That feeling felt like ‘I’m the champ.’ The first time, I don’t remember thinking to myself, ‘I’m the champ.’ This time, I felt like, ‘I’m the champ.“
In the same interview, Cody Rhodes gave his thoughts about why he didn’t feel like the champ the first time he won the WWE Championship. Rhodes stated “I don’t know, I think because of all the emotions and WrestleMania 40, everything that was going into it and the component of the Final Boss [The Rock]. I might have had too much of my vision on the road ahead if it happens. ‘Oh, what could be,’ versus this one where it felt like, ‘Yes, I wasn’t lying to you guys. I’ll keep doing this. If you want to move the goalposts, move them. If you want to tell me I’m not, tell me, but I’m going to do what I did tonight.’” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
