New Post-Show Format In Place for WWE PLEs
Following Saturday’s SummerSlam 2025 Night 1 event at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, WWE did not hold their usual post-show press conference for a PLE or major show that they have done over the recent years.
Instead, Joe Tessitore announced during the SummerSlam Post-Show that WWE would no longer be holding a Q&A portion with the media for their post-shows going forward and a new format to replace it.
This new format was revealed to be talents coming out and joining the panel for discussions about their match with the panelists asking the questions instead. This was followed by WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque doing the same for his portion and speaking directly to the crowd and the panelists.
Jelly Roll Comments on WWE SummerSlam 2025 Match Was Greatest Show He’s Ever Done
Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam post-show featured musician Jelly Roll and WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque among the guests. One of the topics discussed included Jelly Roll’s thoughts about his tag team match with Randy Orton against Logan Paul & Drew McIntyre being the greatest show performance he has ever done.
“It’s right up there next to marrying my wife and the birth of my child. Literally, the greatest show I’ve ever done. It feels right up there with the first time I played the Ryman Auditorium or the Grand Ole Opry. It was spiritual. It was special. Even getting my ass kicked a bunch. It’s funny to get your butt kicked and still feel kind of good about it. I’m sore, I’m hurt, but I’m not injured.
I was a kid tonight. That’s the shoot on it. 12-year-old Jelly just exploding inside.”
Levesque stated that Jelly Roll has already talked to him about potentially doing more with WWE in the future.
“I don’t think I can stop him (from coming back). He’s already talked to me about coming back, he’s already talked to me about doing more. We’ll see when the time is right and you know, when you have that level of respect for people, then you wanna see them be able to have that opportunity again so, we’ll be talking and we’ll see what he can do and I’m sure he’s got some payback coming for Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre so, we’ll see…”

Charlotte Flair on Winning WWE Women’s Tag Titles with Alexa Bliss Being Top 3 Moment for Her
As noted before, Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam 2025 event featured Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss defeating Judgement Day to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team champions.
WWE’s SummerSlam post-show featured Flair and Bliss among the guests. One of the topics discussed included Flair’s thoughts about her winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Bliss is a top three career moment for her.
“I would not have had tagging with Lexi on my 2025 bingo card. I really mean that. When I was sitting at home for a year, I didn’t think, ‘Oh man, I really want to come back and tag with Lexi and win the tag titles.’ For me, it’s kind of like this is what needed to happen. Sometimes the best things come out of nowhere and aren’t expected. That’s what this is. It’s very organic. I don’t think anyone thought this was going to be a thing or that it would work, and it is. That’s when sometimes the best things happen. (Things that) aren’t planned. That’s what it feels like. Honestly, the ten years I’ve been here, tonight felt like a top-three moment. I’m not just saying that. I didn’t expect this or want this. Dang, I didn’t even think I was going to be on SummerSlam after WrestleMania. I was like, ‘Damn, I came back and gave it all and I don’t know what’s next.’ Here is this little five-feet of furry like, ‘Hey, what’s going on with you? Come hang out with me.’ ‘No.’ Then here we are at SummerSlam, and it was like, damn, even after ten years and everything I’ve done, this felt really freaking cool. It felt cool.”
