Nikki Bella vs. Becky Lynch for WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title Announced for WWE Clash in Paris
Monday’s WWE RAW show at the bb pulse LIVE in Birmingham, England featured one new match announced for the card for Clash in Paris, which takes place on August 31st at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France.
This new match announced was a WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship match of Nikki Bella vs. Becky Lynch (c).
This match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over the bad blood issues between Bella and Lynch. During today’s show, Lynch came out to the ring and after some insults directed at Birmingham, Bella’s music played to interrupt. This led to Bella coming out and after some back-and-forth insults banter, Bella challenged Lynch for her WWE Women’s Intercontinental title at Clash in Paris, which Lynch accepted. This then led to a brawl breaking out between Lynch and Bella that ended with Bella standing tall and clearing the ring of Lynch and holding Lynch’s title in the air.
