Friday’s WWE SmackDown drew 1,577,000 viewers on USA Network, up from the prior week’s 1,544,000 viewers.
It drew a 0.48 rating in the 18-49 demographic, up from the prior week’s 0.46 rating.
In regards to notable sports competition, the NFL Preseason game of Cleveland Browns vs. Carolina Panthers drew 2,237,000 viewers on NFL Network, the 2025 Little League World Series Northwest Regional game of Bonney Lake, WA vs. Beaverton, OR drew 738,000 viewers on ESPN, the 2025 Little League World Series Metro Regional game of Fairfield, CT vs. Smithtown, NY drew 715,000 viewers on ESPN, and the MLB game of Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals or Philadelphia Phillies vs. Texas Rangers drew 180,000 viewers on MLB Network.
Last year’s SmackDown on August 9, 2024 drew 2,269,000 viewers and a 0.64 rating on FOX. The August 11, 2023 episode drew 2,097,000 viewers on FOX.
