Kyle Fletcher Comments on His Match Against Hangman Page at All Out 2025 & His Respect for Page
A recent episode of WMUL FM’s Rope Break show featured TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Fletcher’s thoughts about his match against Hangman Adam Page for the AEW World Championship at All Out 2025.
“Yeah, I think being 26, my whole kind of career I’ve been- I’ve been the young guy and it’s kind of- I’ve always heard that I’m… I have all this potential that in the future I’ll be a world champion. I am at a point now where I really do think I’m hitting my stride. I think it’s important for me to kind of shake that, that one day I’ll be great one day I’ll be whatever. Cause I think I’m great now. Yeah, it was more so to test myself as well. I wanted to see if I was ready for that. I mean, I can believe it as much as I want in my own head, but I kind of have to prove it to myself as well. So it was a huge test. I wanted to go out there against the guy in AEW. I did that and I took him, it took 40 minutes for him to beat me. So yeah, I think I swum. I think I proved that I belong in the main event. I didn’t win the World Championship, but I think I proved to a lot of people that it could be coming sooner rather than later.”
Fletcher also gave his thoughts about him having a lot of respect for Page.
“Yeah, I mean, like I said, I’ve been watching AEW since its inception. I’ve been watching all of the elite guys for even longer than that. So Hangman is someone I have a lot of respect for. He’s someone that I think has probably one of the most in-depth characters in all of pro wrestling. I look up to him a lot and to hear those words come from him, it kind of reinforces to me that I’m on the right path and I’m heading in the right direction.”

Taz Comments on Bryan Danielson Joining AEW Commentary Team
A recent episode of News4Jax’s Going Ringside podcast featured AEW commentator Taz as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Taz’s thoughts about Bryan Danielson’s recently joining the AEW commentary team.
“I think it’s cool. I mean, I like Bryan. I respect Bryan and get along great with him. He’s got great insight. You know, some people say, Well, wait a minute. Well, ‘Taz is an analyst, so now we have another analyst in Bryan Danielson.’ That’s true, and it’s okay to have two analysts. I mean, it happens in mainstream sports all the time. I’m a big Mets fan, New York Mets fan. So you know, the announcement for the Mets is a three-man booth forever, a guy named Gary Cohen is a play-by-play guy, and Ron Darling and Keith Hernandez, two former great players, are both analysts. It’s okay to have two analysts, because we have different perspectives on what you’re seeing, the physicality go down in the ring.
So I’m happy that Danielson is part of the announced team with us, with Excalibur and myself, and I think it’s cool. So we just have to build some chemistry together. In broadcasting, you understand that it takes some time to get a load, as a unit, especially in a three-person booth, which can get a little tougher. So we just need a little time to kind of get our sea legs as a unit under us a little bit. We will, it’ll take a couple of weeks.”
