Tony Khan Comments on Being Hopeful Chris Jericho Returns to AEW
As noted before, Chris Jericho’s contract with AEW is currently set to expire by the end of 2025. Jericho has been absent from AEW since this past April.
A recent episode of QFM96’s The Torg & Elliot Show featured AEW CEO Tony Khan as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Khan’s thoughts about Jericho’s potential return to AEW.
“Chris Jericho has been here since the very beginning. I have so much great respect for Chris Jericho. I would love to have Chris in AEW any time. We absolutely want Chris Jericho back in AEW, and hopefully soon. He’s been great with us and been with us since the first event. The very first AEW World Champion, and Chris is a huge part of the history in AEW and is still in great shape and a great wrestler.”
Khan also gave his thoughts about Jericho’s future in AEW and when he may return.
“Stay tuned to the show. That’s one of the reasons you watch the wrestling show, to see the returns.”
