As noted before, Wardlow is currently believed to have suffered a torn pectoral injury following his surprise return to AEW at this past August’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 event in London. Wardlow had been away from AEW due to a knee injury and filming for the American Gladiators reboot series prior to his return.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Wardlow’s injury affected AEW officials “immediate creative plans” for All Out 2025 due to one of the top matches planned would have been Wardlow challenging Hangman Adam Page for the AEW World Championship.
Those spoken to within AEW reportedly stated that Wardlow’s match was not planned for All Out and instead Kyle Fletcher was always he plan to face Page for title at All Out.
It was reported that Fletcher and Wardlow would have done some work alongside each other for the storyline.
It was also reported that Wardlow is currently expected to be sidelined for quite some time and his injury was a heavy point of discussion at MJF and Alicia Atout’s recent wedding. It was reported that everyone felt bad for Wardlow on getting injured again.
