AEW reportedly is currently considering plans to potentially add new members to the Hurt Syndicate, according to Fightful Select.
Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources stated that there have been internal discussions within AEW about adding new younger members to the Hurt Syndicate.
Sapp reported that these discussions have revolved around on bringing in younger talent to bolster the faction. No specific names were given in regards to who has been discussed as potential new members for the group.
In regards to Cedric Alexander and the online rumors of him joining the group, Sapp reported that he has not heard from his sources that Alexander is being brought into AEW at this time. Sapp also reported that Alexander’s contract status with TNA Wrestling is currently not known.
Sapp also reported that the online rumors of MVP being on his way out of AEW are not true and those spoken to stated that they have heard nothing of the sort for him despite the reports about his backstage heat earlier in the year. All of the current members of the Hurt Syndicate reportedly are currently signed to multi-year contracts with the company.
The Hurt Syndicate currently consists of MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley and for a brief period MJF was also a member.
