As noted before, Shayna Baszler recently has been working as a producer for WWE in a tryout role following her release from the company this past May. Baszler made a surprise appearance during this past Tuesday’s WWE NXT Homecoming show at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that Baszler’s appearance at NXT Homecoming was just a one-off and not an indication of her making a full-time return to WWE.
Meltzer reported that while there is currently hope within WWE that Baszler will take an official coaching or producing role with the company, this is something that is not in place at this point.
