AEW and NJPW’s co-promoted Forbidden Door 2025 event in London, England featured Stardom talent Bozilla competing as Stardom’s representative in the TBS Championship Four-way match.
German tabloid newspaper Blid held a recent interview with Bozilla. One of the topics discussed included Bozilla’s thoughts about the process that led to her appearance at AEW and NJPW’s Forbidden Door 2025 event.
“Taro Okada came up to me and said, ‘You Forbidden Door?’ I said, ‘Yeah, maybe.’ I actually just wanted to go as a spectator; Will Ospreay had invited me. Then Okada said, ‘You match?’ I said, ‘What?’ Okada said, ‘You match at Forbidden Door.’ I said, ‘Okay!’ I thought it was the pre-show, but in the end, I was on the main card in the title match. Unbelievable.
Backstage, I received a lot of praise, even from people who didn’t know me before. My trainer Josh Alexander was proud of me, and Will Ospreay was also thrilled. I thought: I’m 21, I’ve only been doing this full-time since May 2024 – and I’m standing here. What else is there to come?!
Giulia wrote to me a few days later. Many colleagues congratulated me on spot. My first AEW match was a title match against Mercedes Moné—unforgettable! That day has a special place in my heart.”
Bozilla also gave her thoughts about if she’s been contacted by WWE for a potential deal.
“There’s always contact with leagues – but I’m very happy at the moment … My dream is to have a permanent place in wrestling – whether it’s WWE, STARDOM, or AEW. I’m only 22 and I’m already being compared to legends like Aja Kong and Vader. I’m not a copy – I’m Bozilla.”
Bozilla also gave her thoughts about her being signed with Stardom and Japan being the best place for her to learn for her wrestling career.
“I’m signed with options. Japan is the best place for me to learn – and I want to make my mark there.”
