As noted before, Brock Lesnar made his surprise return to WWE at this past August’s SummerSlam 2025 Night 2 event earlier this month and attacked John Cena. Lesnar is currently advertised to make appearances on the September 12th and September 19th WWE SmackDown shows.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Lesnar is currently expected to be in Chicago on Friday.
It was reported that Lesnar has been scheduled to travel to Chicago this week, which is the location for this Friday’s WWE SmackDown show.
This Friday’s show is also currently expected to be Cena’s final appearance on SmackDown for his wrestling career.
Cena and Lesnar are currently planned to be facing off against each other in a match at WWE’s Wrestlepalooza event on September 20th in Indianapolis, Indiana.
