Update on Octagon Jr. Potential Concussion Injury & Status for 9/12 WWE x AAA Worlds Collide Event
As noted before, Octagon Jr. suffered an injury that is currently believed to have been a concussion this past Sunday’s Alianzas tapings for Lucha Libre AAA in Mexico. Octagon Jr.’s status for the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event on September 12th has been in doubt.
Doctor Odiseo provided an update on Instagram stating that Octagon Jr. is okay and has been cleared to compete for WWE and AAA’s upcoming Worlds Collide event.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that the current belief within WWE is that Octagon Jr. is doing fine and he currently is expected to compete at this Friday’s Worlds Collide event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

VoxCatch held a recent interview with Rusev. One of the topics discussed included Rusev’s thoughts about his return to WWE and his main goal for his wrestling career for his current run in the company.
“Well, they’ve changed and they are keep changing. My main goal was, you know, to show these young kids that they need to take advantage of the opportunity they have, you know, to go to show up every day, work hard and strive for more. Because I see a lot of them, they just are complacent. And I’ve been there and I know how they feel. So I wanted to help them.”

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured The Culling (Tatum Paxley & Izzi Dame) defeating ZaRuca (Zaria & Sol Ruca) and Fatal Influence (Jazmyn Nyx & Fallon Henley) in a #1 Contender Triple Threat Elimination match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. As a result of their victory, The Culling earned a future shot for the titles against current champions Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair.
As noted before, Valhalla, real name Sarah Rowe, revealed this past June that she would be departing from WWE once her contract expires due to the company not offering her a new deal. WWE recently moved Valhalla’s profile to the Alumni section on their official website indicating that her contract expired as of this week.
As noted before, WWE recently announced that John Cena will be making his final appearance at Madison Square Garden for their upcoming WWE RAW show on November 17th. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that WWE is currently charging as much as $2,368.25 to as low as $193.25 per ticket depending on section location and package.
As noted before, WWE’s upcoming WWE RAW shows for the month of September are currently scheduled to air at an earlier than usual start time of 7PM EST on Netflix due to WWE not wanting to go entirely directly head-to-head against the current NFL season. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Madison Square Garden is also currently listing an early start time of 7PM EST as well for WWE’s RAW show on November 17th at their venue.

The third new video was a tag team match of Triple H & Shawn Michaels vs. The Legion of Doom (Animal & Hawk) from the October 1997 WWE house show event. The fourth new video was a Steel Cage match of Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero from the September 9, 2005 episode of WWE SmackDown. The fifth new video was a WWE Divas Championship match of Kaitlyn vs. AJ Lee (c) from WWE Money in the Bank 2013.
In a recent interview with Esports Insider, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T revealed that he is a huge gamer and has been doing voicework for WWE’s video games. Booker T stated “Right now, it’s an honour for me, I’m actually doing some of the voiceovers as a commentator for the video games. I’m pretty stoked about that. As soon as I finished this boom, I get started with that in a few minutes. So, I’m a huge gamer. I’ve always been a gamer since I was a kid.“
