IYO SKY & Rhea Ripley vs. Kabuki Warriors Announced for WWE Crown Jewel: Perth
Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one new match announced for the card of Crown Jewel: Perth, which takes place on October 11th at the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia, Australia.
This new match announced was a tag team match of IYO SKY & Rhea Ripley vs. Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane & Asuka).
This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Asuka’s bad blood issues with Ripley and Asuka & Sane turning heel on SKY attacking her last week. During tonight’s show, Ripley came out to the ring and talked about the Kabuki Warriors attack on her and SKY last week. Rhea called out the Kabuki Warriors leading to a somber SKY coming out instead. SKY talked about it breaks her heart to say this but Rhea was right about Asuka and Kairi. SKY continued stating that they are their family and she still loves them. This led to the Kabuki Warriors showing up on the big screen and after some words and insults by Asuka, SKY told Rhea ” I’m sorry, Rhea. I need time. I need time!” and walked away while crying. This led to the Kabuki Warriors coming out from behind and attacked Ripley leading to a conflicted SKY getting back into the ring only to get hit with a mist attack by Asuka. The Kabuki Warriors continued their attack on SKY and Ripley before being broken up by WWE officials.
