Jax says she is the Alpha Female of the Women’s Division. It’s definitely not Tiffy, and she mocks the “Tiffy Time” catchphrase. Jax put her in a “Tiffy Timeout” last week. As for Jade Cargill, she would trade appearances with her. The woman looks incredible. If she could trade in-ring ability, Cargill would trade with Jax because she could use it. Jax sarcastically says Cargill is great. She looks fantastic until she gets in the ring. Then, she gets Annihilated by Jax. She’ll annihilate any storm or Tiffy Time any damn time.
“It’s Tiffy Time!”
WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton comes out to the stage. Stratton says everyone is sick of Nia Jax running her mouth about her. No one wants Jax near the title. As for Jade Cargill, she’s not a superhero. Cargill won’t save anything. Since they’re committed to acting delusional, she’ll show them why she’s the one and only Women’s Champion. There’s nothing they can do or say about it.
Stratton heads to the ring, but referees and security run down to stop her. Jade Cargill storms down to the ring and attacks security. Cargill gets on the apron, but referees and security pull her down. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis says he’ll give them a chance to tear each other apart. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis is in the ring and talks about the importance of WWE Wrestlepalooza. The main event will be the Undisputed WWE Championship. Aldis introduces the challenger in that match, Drew McIntyre. “The Scottish Warrior” comes out to the stage and heads to the ring. McIntyre grabs a microphone with a smug look on his face, and the crowd starts to boo. Before he can say anything…
“Wrestling has more than one royal family.”
Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes heads to the ring. The crowd gives Rhodes a great ovation. McIntyre looks unimpressed. Rhodes says that before they sign the contract, he asks McIntyre if he knows what happened fifteen years ago today. They won the Tag Team Championship together. No one was talking about it. The world doesn’t revolve around them or their story. It’s the crowd’s story. They don’t need to know the story. Sometimes, the people want to see two guys fight. Rhodes understands who McIntyre is. In the past, he won a Royal Rumble, was WWE Champion, and slayed The Beast. He’s the Scottish Warrior, but lately, the Scottish Warrior has just been a Keyboard Warrior. Rhodes tells McIntyre to pull his phone out and complain online. This will be the last time he gets one over on McIntyre. McIntyre types on his phone and shows he tweeted out, “Thank you Cody!!”
McIntyre says all he wanted was a legitimate shot at the WWE Championship. McIntyre won’t get screwed over in this match. Rhodes is a fighting champion and a company guy. McIntyre says Rhodes is the Corporate Champion. That’s not a bad thing. McIntyre stomped his head through a table weeks ago. All Rhodes is doing is talking him to death. The people will eventually turn on Rhodes and move to the next flavor of the month. Rhodes will realize he’s right.
Rhodes says he can say what he wants, but McIntyre’s legacy will be as the guy who lost on one of WWE’s biggest shows to him. Rhodes signs the contract, as does McIntyre. McIntyre hits Rhodes with a Glasgow Kiss and knocks him out of the ring. McIntyre has him set up for a Claymore Kick through the table, but he thinks better of it. McIntyre grabs Rhodes and says the match at Wrestlepalooza will happen tomorrow. McIntyre is taking the title. McIntyre poses and heads to the back. Nick Aldis yells at him. Rhodes hits McIntyre with a suicide dive. They start to brawl until referees and officials pull them apart. They break free and continue to brawl. McIntyre then boots Rhodes in the face and stomps his forehead as the show comes to an end.
