AEW Reportedly Had Discussed Plans for Potential Official Training Center

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that AEW officials had internal discussions at one point about creating a potential official training center or some type of developmental system for the company.

These talks reportedly would have involved Ace Steel taking a leadership role for this new training center before he was let go from AEW in 2023.

AEW officials reportedly held meetings earlier this year about opening this potential new training facility in Asheville, North Carolina and that several key talents with ties in that area had been lined up and would have been heavily involved. It was reported that FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler and Adam and Beth Copeland were expected to play big roles in mentoring and training talent at this new facility.

Those spoken to reportedly stated that all further talks regarding a potential new training center have been dropped for now. The reason reportedly being due to the overall cost of establishing and operating this potential new facility.
