AEW held a new television tapings for AEW Collision on Wednesday at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.
This taping will be for this week’s episode on Saturday, October 11th:
In regards to notable moments from the tapings, Kota Ibushi suffered an aparent leg injury resulting in him being stretchered out and sent to the hospital. Ibushi’s injury took place during his match against Josh Alexander following a spot involving him fall off the turnbuckle and crashing onto the floor on the outside. This led to Ibushi getting counted out and medics coming out to attend to Ibushi. This then let to a stretcher being brought out and Ibushi placed into an ambulance and sent to a hospital for medical treatment. Following the match, AEW CEO Tony Khan came out and confirmed Ibushi’s injury.

Another notable moment featured Mark Davis making his surprise return from injury. Following Alexander’s victory over Ibushi, Davis made his surprise return and reunited with his fellow Don Callis Family member. This led to Kenny Omega coming out and chased both Alexander and Davis away. This was Davis’ first appearance since this past March due to a broken foot injury.

- Trios match – Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart, & Skye Blue) defeated Kris Statlander, “Timeless” Toni Storm, & Harley Cameron
- Josh Alexander defeated Kota Ibushi via countout. Near the end of the match, Ibushi suffered an injury after a rough fall to the outside and was unable to return to the ring in time to beat the count. Following the match, Mark Davis made his surprise return and joined up with Alexander. This led to Kenny Omega attacking Alexander and Davis and chased both of them away.

- Max Caster & Anthony Bowens defeated Big Bill & Bryan Keith
- TayJay (Tay Melo & Anna Jay) defeated Carolina Cruz & Dream Girl Ellie
- Trios match – La Faccion Ingobernable (RUSH, Dralistico, & Sammy Guevara) defeated MxM TV (Mason Madden, Mansoor, & Johnny TV)
- Eddie Kingston defeated The Beast Mortos. Following the match, LFI attacked Kingston and HOOK leading to Katsuyori Shibata coming out to make the save
- Mixed Trios match – Megan Bayne & FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) defeated JetSpeed Babes (Willow Nightingale & JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & “Speedball” Mike Bailey)
