Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show drew 465,000 viewers on TBS, down compared to last week’s 638,000 viewers. This week’s show was notable for being the Dynamite 6 Year Anniversary show and for its longer than usual runtime length of two and a half hours.
It drew a 0.09 rating in the 18-49 key demographic, down compared to last week’s 0.14 rating.
This week show’s viewership and ratings was the lowest for a Dynamite show in 2025. The main reason for the year-low numbers for both AEW and WWE’s cable television shows this past week is due to Nielsen recently introducing a new “Big Data” ratings system that has led to lower numbers being generated for wrestling television shows compared to the prior ratings system used.
The streaming viewership numbers for the simulcast on HBO MAX is currently not known.
In regards to notable sports competition, the 2025 MLB Playoffs Game 2 of Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees drew 6,757,000 viewers on ESPN.
This time last year on October 2, 2024, Dynamite drew 680,000 viewers and a 0.20 18-49 rating. The October 4, 2023 episode drew 800,000 viewers and a 0.28 rating.
