As noted before, Austin Theory has been absent from WWE since this past July due to an undisclosed injury. WWE has been working on plans for Theory to join The Vision and be one of the members of the heel team for the Men’s WarGames match at next month’s Survivor Series WarGames 2025 event in San Diego, California. Those plans were in doubt following Seth Rollins’ recent shoulder injury and expected surgery.
WrestleVotes reported that their sources stated that there are still those within WWE who have been pushing to keep Theory involved in the creative plans for The Vision even after the recent shuffling caused by Rollins’ injury.
It was reported that the idea of Theory joining the group was at least discussed and he still has internal support moving forward to reappear on WWE television in a “significant manner.”
Sources indicate there are still voices within the company pushing to keep Austin Theory involved in creative plans, even after the recent shuffling caused by Seth Rollins’ injury.
