As noted before, Mickie James will be getting inducted into TNA’s Hall of Fame as part of this year’s class of inductees at this Sunday’s TNA Bound For Glory 2025 event in Lowell, Massachusetts.
A recent episode of WrestlingNews.co’s The Velvet Ropes with SoCal Val podcast featured James as the guest. One of the topics discussed included James revealing that Lisa Marie Varon, former Victoria in WWE and Tara in TNA, will be inducting her into TNA’s Hall of Fame.
“You’re going to be pleased with this as someone who was pretty synonymous with the whole in production of hardcore country. I think that we made some incredible, historic moments together, and that would be our dear friend, Lisa Marie. I’ve asked her.”
James also gave her thoughts about how TNA official Tommy Dreamer had actually reached out to Varon first for the invitation.
“The next day, who do I have a five minute like, voice note from bawling, like, sweet Lisa. I wanted to call you. I wanted to FaceTime you. I was waiting for Tommy to respond to me!”
