Mercedes Mone Retains CMLL Women’s World Title at 10/17 CMLL Super Viernes Show, Mone Issues Open Challenge for AEW TBS Title at AEW WrestleDream 2025

Friday’s CMLL Super Viernes show at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico featured Mercedes Mone defeating Persephone to retain her CMLL Women’s World Championship.

Following the match, Mone grabbed a microphone and gave a promo issuing an open challenge match for her AEW TBS Championship to any champion at Saturday’s AEW WrestleDream 2025 event.

Mone also called out anyone from the back to challenge her for the CMLL Women’s World Championship. This led to Olympia coming out to accept and Mone stating that this match would take place in the United States.
