DOUKI Wins IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title at 10/6 Road to King of Pro Wrestling Event
Monday’s NJPW Road to King of Pro Wrestling event at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan featured DOUKI defeating El Desperado to become the new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion.
Throughout the match, HOUSE OF DARKNESS’ SHO interfered to help his fellow member leading to SHO hitting El Desperado with a wrench and sheet pan after the referee was knocked out for a while. This led to DOUKI locking in the Italian Stretch as the referee regained his senses and called for the bell due to El Desperado being passed out.

New Stip Set for Drilla Moloney vs. SANADA at NJPW King of Pro Wrestling 2025
New Japan Pro Wrestling announced one newly updated match for the card of King of Pro Wrestling 2025, which takes place on October 13th at the Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
This newly updated match was a No DQs, No Countouts match of Drilla Moloney vs. SANADA.
This newly updated match was setup following Moloney & Clark Connors’ victory over SANADA & Yoshinobu Kanemaru by countout in a tag team match at Monday’s Road to King of Pro Wrestling event in Tokyo. Near the end of the match, SANADA grabbed his guitar while the referee was down and attempted to strike Moloney. This led to Moloney hitting a low blow to SANADA and grabbed the guitar but before he could use it, SANADA left the ring and was eventually counted out. Following the match, Moloney grabbed a microphone and issued a new stipulation for his match against SANADA at King of Pro Wrestling 2025. Moloney stated that there will be nowhere for SANADA to run and stated that their will be no DQs or countouts for their match. It was announced afterwards that this new stipulation was made official for the match.
