Persephone Wins 2025 CMLL Women’s International Grand Prix

Friday’s CMLL Women’s International Grand Prix event at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico featured Persephone becoming the winner of this year’s Women’s International Grand Prix.

Persephone won the match for Team Mexico following her last eliminating Thekla from Team International in a 18-Women Team Elimination match to secure the victory.

This year’s tournament featured Persephone, La Catalina, Zeuxis, Olympia, Skadi, Renya Isis, India Sioux, Lluvia, and Jarochita representing Team Mexico. Kanji, Shoko Nakajima, Diamanté, Hazuki, Koguma, Mina Shirakawa, and Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Skye Blue, & Julia Hart) had represented Team International.

This was Persephone’s first ever Women’s Grand Prix victory in her CMLL career.
