Rollins’ injury situation is believed to be the reason for the The Vision turning on Rollins and attacking him at the October 13th WWE RAW show in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. Rollins injury is believed to be a torn rotator cuff and he is expected to be undergoing surgery soon.

WWE recently announced that RAW GM Adam Pearce will be making an announcement regarding the status of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Rollins during tonight’s WWE RAW show in Sacramento, California.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Rollins’ injury is significant enough that he is currently expected to vacate his WWE World Heavyweight title on tonight’s WWE RAW show.

It was reported that Rollins was not seen backstage at the arena as of the time of their report.

It was also reported that WWE officials’ currently have potential plans to have a Battle Royal match take place on tonight’s RAW show to determine a challenger for the title. It was also reported that while a title match has yet to be confirmed, the winner will likely be facing off against CM Punk for the vacant title at the November 1st WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show in Salt Lake City, Utah.
