Mike Santana Comments on His Journey to Winning TNA Title

Mike Santana recently reflected on Twitter about his journey to winning the TNA World Championship at this past Sunday’s TNA Bound For Glory 2025 event.

“What a journey it’s been…For the last 48 hours I’ve been trying to think of some words to put together that best describes how I’ve been feeling. But to be honest, I’ve been allowing myself to just take everything in and be in the moment. Giving this time to myself because I’ve earned it.

As alot of you know, I’ve been very open about my struggles and the battles I’ve faced and conquered to get where I am. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. All that pain has been used to paint this picture that you all see today. And I must say, it’s a beautiful one.

Back in March of last year, I took a huge gamble on myself. Left a comfortable and secure position because I felt like I had a greater calling and was destined for more. I have too much respect for myself and this sport to just coast by and be happy to be somewhere collecting a paycheck. It’s never been me. If you’re not growing in this then you’re dying and I didn’t sacrifice half of my life to just be happy to be here…

So I made a plan and got to work. Hit the road and started on a path of proving myself. I didn’t know how long it was going to take or if it was even going to work. But one thing I did know was that nothing will happen if I don’t TRY. Thankfully I’ve had such an amazing support system who’s helped and encouraged me every step of the way.

And that brought me back through the doors of TNA. The place that helped put me on the map and gave me opportunities to tell my story. They trusted me and I trusted them and I’m so thankful to be a part of this family. I can’t tell you how much pride I take in being in this position that I’m in. A true testament to hard work paying off in every way possible.

This past Sunday I didn’t just prove to the world but to MYSELF that I am the man I say I am. Thank you all for taking the ride with me. I hope you continue to do so because I’m just getting started. I need you all now more than ever.

And with all that being said, I’ll leave you with this…NEVER LET SOMEONE TELL YOU THAT YOU CANT.
PUT IN THE WORK.
DO IT YOURSELF.
BET ON YOU EVERY TIME.”

Matt Hardy Comments on Emotional Ending to Final The Hardys vs. Dudley Boyz Match & Claims They Were Reason for TNA Bound For Glory’s Record Attendance

This past Sunday’s TNA Bound For Glory 2025 event featured The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) defeating Team 3D (D-Von & Bully Ray) in a Tables match to retain the TNA World Tag Team and WWE NXT Tag Team Championships. This match was notable for being the final match between The Hardys and Team 3D of their wrestling careers and Team 3D retiring after the match.

Matt Hardy recently reflected on Twitter about the emotional ending to the final Hardys vs. Dudley Boyz match and claimed that their match was the reason for TNA’s record setting attendance for their Bound For Glory event.

“This match def consisting of strong storytelling, @Graannt. It wasn’t meant to be a Flair/HBK finish, it had our own personal spin on it.

Not to be disrespectful towards the rest of the amazing roster on this show, but this is the match that set the new attendance record. People cared about the Hardy/Dudley rivalry. Doesn’t matter what internet nobodies say on social media, The Hardy Boyz sell tickets in 2025.

The Hardys/Dudleys match at BFG 2025 reminds me of The Final Deletion from 2016. It’s initially gonna be polarizing & people will either love it or hate it. As time passes, people will look back at this match as a masterclass performed by four 30 year+ grizzled vets. This match was historic & special. I’m proud of myself, @JEFFHARDYBRAND, @bullyray5150 & @TestifyDVon for making magic together one final time. Thank you for the opportunity & platform, @ThisIsTNA.”

Moose Denies Rumors of TNA Papering Ticket Sales for Bound For Glory

As noted before, TNA announced that this past Sunday’s Bound For Glory 2025 event broke the company’s all-time record for largest attendance for a TNA event in North America. TNA had announced an official attendance of 7,794 while WrestleTix had listed the tickets sold and distributed as being around 6,049 and a capacity of around 6,488 on the day of the event. Prior to the start of the show, a video had circulated on social media showing people handing out tickets to TNA’s event for free leading to online speculation of TNA papered the attendance by a large amount.

Moose recently responded on Twitter denying the allegations of TNA papering their Bound For Glory 2025 event. Moose also clarified that some of the tickets would have been comped due to that being standard practices in wrestling but claimed that this number would have been no more than 200-300.

“For the people saying half of our record setting attendance record was free tickets given are brain dead and fail to realize in 2016/17 myself The Hardy’s Eddie Cody Rhodes Drew McIntyre Lashley wrestled at Universal in front of only 150 people were every single ticket were free because universal didn’t allow ticket sales. I could understand 200/300 comped tickets for sponsors and media purposes and friends and family but 3k No business will take an outstanding loss just to fill up an arena. If it was that easy every company would do it and we would have done it a decade ago when we struggling to get 500 people to attend a show. Just enjoy the growth and the win. we wouldn’t be in their position without you guys our true fans. THIS IS TNA.”
